Harvick, a two-time Phoenix winner, finished 30th on Saturday night, April 18, 2009. It was his worst showing on the desert track in six seasons, and extended his winless streak to 79 points races dating back to the 2007 Daytona 500. Bowyer also struggled in Phoenix. His 26th-place finish was his worst of the year.

Everyone said Tony Stewart was crazy to leave the cozy confines of Joe Gibbs Racing to run his own NASCAR team. A struggling, noncompetitive race team, at that.

Darlington sellout streak currently too close to call
