NASCAR “Car of Tomorrow” test sessions to be shown on Speed TV

It looks like SPEED will be showing two 30-minute specials on February 28 and March 1 at 7 p.m. ET with coverage of the test sessions in Bristol.

From the Fox Sports Website …

NASCAR is expecting somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 cars to participate … with some teams bringing more than one car,” said Frank Wilson, SPEED VP of Production. “This is a huge test that will set the table for the rest of the NASCAR race season … how teams handle this car will go a long way toward determining the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup championship.

Could be fun to watch!

Waltrip Makes It Into The Daytona 500

With an 8th place finnish Waltrip has made it to Sundays Daytona 500. On the other hand it seems that Gordon’s car was found to be too low in post-race inspection which means that although he won the second duel he will be starting from 42nd place on sunday at the Daytona 500.

The Daytona 500 pole sitter will be David Gilliland.

Good luck to all on Sunday!
